We are the Aficionado Club of Mount Royal College, a newly ratified club on campus. Based loosely on the Aficionado Club that preceeded us several years ago, the ACMRC was brought back by Trevor Prosser and Sean Rooney for a number of reasons. Stressed out to the limit, Trevor and Sean wanted to gather a bunch of people who were, likewise, in desperate need of relaxation. But this is where they agreed to disagreed. Trevor found it relaxing to kick back with a nice cigar, while Sean preferred to unwind with a cool rum and coke.
     The Aficionado Club was born to cater to both. If you enjoy a nice smoke in a casual environment, full of friendly people, then this is the club for you. If a drink and a pleasant conversation is your idea of a heavenly release, we're the club for you. If you want the best of both worlds, guess what. We're the club for you.
      Don't drink? Don't smoke? (What do you do?) That's okay, the Aficionado Club is still the club for you.  With ultra-cheap membership and a growing roster of friendly people flocking to join up, you don't  have to do anything but sit back and relax.
     We will be holding various events throughout the year, ranging from our regular meetings, which will be held every two weeks, to a variety of fun events and trips that we're cooking up.
