Recommened Cigars
If you think a Swisher Sweet is a good smoke, read this.

This cigar has the double thumbs-up from our resident stogie 'expert,' Trevor, and our ne'er-smoking VP, Sean. A smooth smoke that doesn't kill the second-hand smokers sitting next to you, our recommendation is...
The Cohiba Lancero

WHAT THE BOOK SAYS: "The Cohiba brand was created in 1966 as Havana's premier brand, for diplomatic use only. The story goes that Castro's bodyguard had a private supply of cigars which he purchased from a local tobacquero. Castro enjoyed the taste of the cigars so much that he secretly installed their maker, Eduardo Ribera, in a Havana mansion, so that he could make them exclusively for the government. The Lancero was offered to the public in 1982, along with the Corona, Especiale and Panetela sizes. The tobacco for these cigars are only grown in ten selected vegas (plantations) in the Vuelta Abajo region. The pick of the crop is selected from the five best plantations each year. Availability will always be limited, because nothing is allowed to compromise the Cohiba brand's supremely high standards."  - The Ultimate Cigar Encyclopedia.

WHAT WE SAY: "The Cohiba Lancero, really, is wasted on a smoker with my limited experience. But what the heck. Experts, eat yer hearts out. I got to select a freshly rolled Lancero during a special tour of the Cohiba factory in Havana. I saved that cigar for a few months, wondering if the time it spent in my inadequate little humidor would wound it, but when I did light that puppy up, let me tell you, it was worth the wait! This cigar lit without a fight, burned even, smelled great, tasted great, and even drew compliments from the non-smokers around me! The mild flavour and smoothness of the whole thing melted me into a puddle of contentedness in my chair. It may set you back a few big bills, but if you want to pretend you're a fat-cat tycoon for an hour or so, pick up a Cohiba Lancero, and forget about your troubles."
