Here. 22/03/99 - Intel are planning to roll out a new home networking technology next month, called AnyPoint. This will allow multiple computers within a hime to communicate using already installed phone wires, when used in conjuction with Windows (no....the operating system). He managed to take down the companies homepage and has achieved extensive access to other content on the site. More here and here. 22/03/99 - Microsoft have responded to privacy concerns and posted software patch on its website that will stop its Office software from invisibly stamping a hardware identification number in users documents. Click here. 22/03/99 - Some high school dropout has been busted and charged with computer tampering after hacking into the internal computers of aol and altering some programs. AOL are claiming this is going to cost $50,000 to repair, what did he do ? burn the computers ?? More here. 22/03/99
