ALL the clubs, instructors and students are members of the British Ju Jitsu Association. This is the only organisation of Ju Jitsu in the UK which is recognised by the Sports Council of Great Britain. As such the BJJA is recognised as the Governing Body for the sport in the UK. Due to the popularity of Ju Jitsu, many dubious instructors have set up or created their own style of Ju Jitsu. Before undertaking any sort of training under these people the Sports Council suggest you contact them or the BJJA to find an accredited club within your area, this way you keep your safety and your training needs first and foremost.
