Realistische Baeren
Realistic Bears with a slightly human touch, so we can re- late better to these magnificent creatures.
"Springtime in Alaska" a vignette with 3 "polar teddies" admiring the first butterfly of the season.The two larger bears are made from partially dyed mohair and have double neck-joints. They are 4" (10 cm) and 3 3/4" (9 cm) tall. The cub is made from partially dyed upholstry velvet.This vignette achieved a Golden George nomination in Hennef, Germany in April 1998.
Ilka 4" (10 cm) Grizzly Mama made from mohair with a sculpted polymer clay muzzle. Yummie, her cub is 2 1/2" (6 cm) tall - his muzzle is also made from polymer clay.
McNeal , a grizzly and Echota, a black bear from the Blue Ridge Mountains. Echota, named after the Cherokee capital in North Georgia, is made from handdyed upholstry velvet. He has an open mouth and leather paws. Echota: 3 3/4", McNeal 4 1/2 " - Schulte mohair.
… and by the way, it is very difficult to take a decent picture of a black bear - so the photo does not do him justice
