Kate's General Information
My four sons, and I, came to live in Australia six
years ago. I am a christian, saved by God's grace and mercy. He stepped
into my life while I was a hippy and on drugs.
I wasn't looking for Him, but He found me.
I was raised a Catholic, and wanted to
become a nun. Going to church on Sunday and confession was the only sense of cleanness I felt in my life.
I have two sisters, and three brothers,
and I am the middle child. My father ran away from home when I was seven.
A lot of my life was filled with abuse, which I will share later in my
testimony.
I ran away from home when I was fourteen
and spent ten months in a naughty girls convent, until they sent me home
because I organized a sit-in rebellion against the nuns, I was a total
rebel, and I trusted no one.
I love my four sons and am blessed by who
they are. My oldest son is 21, and he was at Bible College last year, and
is getting married to a lovely girl he met there.
My second son is 19 and he is in Bible College
this year, he plays the keyboard.
My third son is going to Bible college next
year, and he plays the guitar.
My fourth son is 15, and a brilliant drummer
and doesn't want to go to Bible College.
My fifth son lives in heaven.

I have had two successful businesses, one was
Jewel Plants. It was a indoor plant business, I did hire plants as well
and owned my own plant nursery, I had eight staff working for me. I owned
that for six years before we came to Australia.
The other business, was a clinic for women. I
was a sports and remedial massage therapist. I also owned a school of massage
(don't freak out, I did absolutely no new age stuff at all). I ran that
for five years.
My interests are:

SPECTATOR SPORT, with four sons in rugby union
I had no choice. My favorite team is the ALL Blacks. My father was selected
for them at one stage. I am the noisiest spectator in the crowd when they
play.
BALLROOM DANCING: I love the elegance of
ballroom dancing and I learned to waltz, jive, rumba and rock and roll.
MUSIC: I fell madly in love with Cliff
Richard's music as a teenager and believe that the only reason he is not
married now is because he hasn't met me yet.
My hippy days found me grooving to Bob Dylan,
Donovan, Aretha Franklin, and of course the Beatles.
I learned to play the drums and Buddy Rich was
my hero. After I became a christian, I was ordered by a Baptist minister
to give up the drums because it was a rebellion for me against being a
woman, he said. I wanted to be the best, and first female drummer in New Zealand.
I have written two books "THE WOMAN AT
THE WELL" and "HOW TO PICK A PAEDOPHILE". The books are at the publishers
in England and America at the moment.
I also love the beach. In Auckland, where
I grew up, we lived at the beach. I especially loved it on wild, windy
days. I would sit on the beach watching the massive waves go out of control.
I love fishing, we spent a lot of time on a Sunday dragging the net for
flounder and collecting pipi's on the beach, cooking and having them with
hot Sunday bread.......Oh I miss the beach.
