Ronald Eugene Fernsler is my dad's name. He's pretty quiet most of the time, unless you tickle him. :c) Dad is kind of tall and REALLY skinny, so mom says I take after him. I don't think he has a favorite sport except that he LOVES the computer and is always on his laptop. Dad also loves watching Xena and Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Sci-Fi channel). Dad also spends a lot of time doing genelogy. He has his own geneology home page. Personally, I think it's kinda boring. Who wants to learn about dead people anyway? He also created a page for our missionary friends, the Lall's. He's an engineer at Thomson Consumer Electronics (RCA). Most of the time I beat him at pool. Dad thinks he's pretty funny, too. He makes up lame jokes and repeats them as much as possible. As long as my friends don't laugh and encourage him to do more, I don't get as annoyed as I used to. He has a younger sister and she has 3 kids (also my cousins). Oh. Dad also likes (but won't admit) Connie Sellica and that girl on Xena. That's pretty much it about dad.
Jenny Sue Ashbaugh is my
mom's name. (It was going to be Reda Ruth. Yuk!) She was born in
Richmond, IN where she met dad. Actually, mom just happened to be
close friends with Aunt Bonnie who introduced her to her brother,
my dad. Mom likes to sew, but claims she's no good at it. She
loves watching stupid movies with Jim Carey or Robin Williams in
it. All she does is laugh. Mom also loves to tease and embarrass
us. (I have to admit, she's pretty good at it, too.) She'll do
the funky-chicken dance around the kitchen when I have friends
over for the first time. You can imagine what their responce
usually is. Like dad, mom doesn't really have a favorite sport or
game. To tell you the truth, mom's really no good at games. She
doesn't even remember how to play Uno every time we take it out!
She's terrible at Balderdash and Taboo exspecially. Mom can also
be very strange when she's tired. Well, I could go blabbering on
about mom or I could tell you about my sister. I think I'll do
that.
Hannah Marie Fernsler is my
sister's name. She takes after my mom because she's so short.
Actually, Hannah & I are 5 years apart (she'll be 21 in Aug.) and
people think I'M the older one. That really doesn't upset me too
much, though. :c) Hannah is a little on the strange side too. I
guess I can be strange around her too. My sister and I speak in
our own language except we don't know what WE'RE saying! It
drives my parents nuts, but that was the whole purpose of making
this language.
This is my cat, Sarah. She
is probably the oldest and healthiest outside animal that has
ever lived. She thinks she's "Queen of the Yard." My
dad hates her, and she hates him, but as long as they don't get
in each other's way, they'll be fine. All this 14-year-old-cat
does is eat and sleep and sleep some more.
