TAMU|*Family|*Wedding
We visited Oregon and Washington from 28th June
to 5th July 2000.
Our Oregon trip highlights mainly the Oregon Coast, Crater Lake and Multnomah Falls. We have yet to
develop another set of photos which should include more photos of Oregon Coast.
When we stopped at a gas station to pump up our car, we were surprised that
there was a server to do that for us. As we move along, we realized that all
gas stations do this. It's not self-service at the gas stations. The driver simply
remain in his car and the gas server pumps up the gas and receive the
payment. I have heard of some Northern states that implement this but we did
not expect it in Oregon.

Oregon
Coast
The Pacific Coast National Scenic Byway follows the entire
400-mile spectacle. We only visited 200 miles of it from Florence to Astoria.

the Coast and they are full of starfish, crabs, urchins, etc. |

Crater
Lake
Crater Lake lies in a volcanic basin, created when the 12,000
foot high Mount Mazama collapsed 7,700 years ago following a large eruption.

The color of Crater Lake on a clear day is the
bluest blue you have ever seen.

Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge
Multnomah Falls, which drops 620 feet, is Oregon's most
popular attraction.
