Third Alarm Fire brought North Brunswick and East Franklin (Sta. 27) in on mutual aid...... The blaze was started by juveniles who lit a bush on fire that was right up against the structure.  High winds hampered fire suppression and there were no reported injuries.

Heavy fire throughout the second floor forced interior attack teams to evacuate and go to master streams.

New Brunswick Ladder 1 is joined by North Brunswick Fire Co with their truck company, All hands are still engaged in a massive exterior attack.

South Amboy NJ (Middlesex County)  Main Street at the Rural /Metro garage. September 1999.

A Ripping fire originating in a car extended to a storage garage. The blaze was contained in 30 minutes by the towns volunteer fire department. There were no injuries.

A firefighter dons his air pack silhouetted by the late night blaze, Companies utilized master streams from the deck appliance on the first due engine, Second due engine established a water supply right away and fed the attacking pumper.

Plainfield NJ (Union County) 8/7/99
5 Alarm fire in an abandoned commercial building on West Front Street caused a mass mutual aid assignment in the area, Union County Fire Coordinators along with Middlesex Co M/A Coordinators assisted in the fire. Some firefighters suffered minor injuries at the fire.

Fire Chief Artie Lebuis onlooks as his men battle this hot fire engulfing the townships volunteer rescue squad building.

The rescue squad lost their heavy rescue truck and two ambulances in the fire, shown (right) Bernie from the First Watch Website makes a cameo appearance in the lower left.

This massive fire brought in equivelent to a 4 alarm assignment including the Middlesex County OEM.  Ex-Truck 809 seen (left) preparing to go in service with the ladder pipe, EB Dist 1 Truck 709 in foreground also operating along with Brookview VFC Engine 912.

The Building was a total loss including the apparatus and all the files and squad memorabilia from many years of operation.

The First - Aiders at the complex wnen the blaze broke out were alarmed by the fire alarm and discovered the blaze in the apparatus bay area and were able to save two ambulances before the fd arrived.

This action shot (right) Brian caught the "S" from the sign above the overhead bay doors falling into the burning pile of debris. Look Close and you will see the s in the closest bay door area.
