An Aviation Seminar was recently held at Awana Kijal Resort. It was a
resounding success as all agreed that this sort of activity which
promotes the safety of the aviation industry should be held more regularly. In
fact, DCA is keen in joining with the Association to organize future seminars.

Ramesh is the Timbalan Pengarah Institute of Aviation Medicine. He
gave an enlightening talk on the stress and strain when operating an aircraft -
military and civil.

Yahya, Deputy Director in the Licensing Department, DCA, touched on Flight
Safety awareness in Malaysia - the DCA approach. The topic covered a wide range
of attitudes within a wide variety of operators.
Dr Abu Bakar Munir
Dr Abu Bakar is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of
Malaya specializing in Aviation Law. He dealt with the recent development in
Aviation Law both internationally and locally.

(President) and Kol OOi Ah Ba (Vice President) presenting the Association's
token of appreciation to Dr Ramesh at the end of the Seminar. Bon Voyage and see
you next year at the AGM. Maybe we might gather at the east coast again. The
beaches are still unspoiled.
