Membership. . .

As a community-wide coalition, the Aging Resource Center brings together professionals and individuals concerned with aging issues, and the lives of older adults and their families.  In order to fulfill our mission of service to the Greater Louisville community, it is important that all individuals dealing with aging issues, and organizations serving older adults and their families within the region, support and participate in Aging Resource Center programs.

Our strength is in our numbers, and we welcome and encourage you to join this dynamic coalition.  We hope you will agree that the benefits of membership are well worth the nominal annual fee.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

• Numerous opportunities throughout the year to network with individuals and professionals sharing common concerns about aging issues.

• Access to information, referrals and research services through the collection of books, videos and journals contained in the Information Center.

• Eligibility to access in-depth research services with the assistance of a professional communications consultant.  Fees are charged for these services, which only members can access.  Estimates for research projects are provided in advance at no cost.

• A subscription to the quarterly Aging Resource Center newsletter, distributed throughout the Greater Louisville region.

• Opportunities to share concerns and expertise by participating in Aging Resource Center programs, activities and volunteer leadership positions.

• Discounts for conferences and resource materials.

   

Organizational members receive the following benefits as well:

• Designation of 5 staff members to receive all membership mailings and participate in activities.

• Name of your organization published in all newsletters.

• Eligibility to submit articles and information for publication in the newsletter.

• Eligibility to share your expertise with community groups through the Lifelong Learning Initiative.

   

  CATEGORIES AND FEES
   

  Individual:	In order to cover annual costs of membership mailings and programs, we request a $35 annual contribution.
  Organizations:	Annual fees for organizations are based on your annual operating expenses, and range from $100 to $500 per year as follows:

  $100	Annual budget up to $500,000*
  150	... up to $750,000
  200	... up to $1 million
  300	... up to $10 million
  500	... over $10 million
