We had our Sun Conyure parrot for about 2 yrs! When we saw him in the store he was just the most beautiful bird we had ever seen! So of course we just had to have him! Back when we were first married we had plenty of time to spend and plenty of attention to give to Sunny. One of his favorite things to do was to sit on our shoulder, and then after a while he would crawl down the front of our shirt and peek his head out to look around!!! It was the cutest thing! Well when our first son came along, of course Sunny got less and less attention. So we decided to sell him to a home where he could get the attention he needed. We could have put up with the constant, loud squawking which he especially liked to do as soon as we got on the telephone :) But the main reason we got rid of him was we just didn't spend enough time with him. He was sold to an older woman who lived alone so that made us feel much better about it. She'll have lots of attention to give :) We sure do miss him though!!!!
