           A-ha, here is the branch I've been looking for...it belongs to our grandfather, Umberto Vezza.     Born April 16, 1872, he was the 4th of the 5 branches of Domenico & Anna Vezza and like his brothers and sisters he was raised in the Chiaia section of Naples, Italy.  He married Anna Coppola on her 22nd birthday, July 8, 1899.  They will have 12 children of which 7 will not live to enjoy their tender years.
 
    Of my grandparents 5 remaining children, only Gennaro's (1906-1996) was rooted in Italy.  Vincent (1908-1991), Umberto (1912-1998), Domenico (1913-1998), and Concetta (1915-) were all born and raised in the United States.  A move from NYC to Union City, NJ, where our aunt still resides, is where the family roots firmly take hold and the tree begins is most rapid and healthy growth period.
