National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
The nation's largest organization of early childhood professionals, dedicated to improving the quality of early childhood education programs. This site includes information for parents and caregivers via an online magazine, a searchable index of accredited providers, and NAEYC policy and position statements.

Its yearly conference offers speakers and trainers from every field that pertains to young children. National Child Care Information Center (NICCIC)
This organization was established by the Department of Health and Human Services to serve as a mechanism for supporting quality, comprehensive services for children and families. This site includes information on public safety issues regarding child care, links to research, and other valuable links and resources.

The Children's Literature Web Guide This site provides links to such resources as children's books online, children's book awards and movies based on children's books. The site also has lists of resources for teachers, parents and storytellers.
