NORCAL NAE is linked with the national NAE office
in Carol Stream, Ill. Organized in l942, National Association of
Evangelicals
has promoted the uniting of hearts across denominational lines since its inception. Among the notables involved in
the NAE founding is Dr. Billy Graham, famed world evangelist.
The national offices are augmented by the Washington D.C. office of Government Affairs which monitors items before the congress affecting
evangelicals. The office of Government Affairs also maintains relationships with various offices of each current administration to provide for safety and assistance to missionaries around the world from NAE member
denominations as well as independent groups.
Reverend Ted Haggard, pastor of world famous New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado has been appointed as the new national NAE President. New Life Church is the largest congregation
in the state of Colorado. Reverend Leith Anderson, Sr. Pastor of Woodale Church in Eden Prarie, Minnesota has served as president for the
past 18 months and according to NAE chair, Reverend Bill Hamel, "positioned NAE well for the future. We are grateful for his excellent leadership over the past eighteen months." The recent
National NAE Convention in Pastor Anderson's church in Minnesota was a huge success largely because of the outstanding leadership of the pastor.
