Squid Pole Antenna SQUID POLE ANTENNA

Rather than re-invent the wheel, here I place just a few selected links which within their pages contain more links than I could possibly find or keep track of. And with one or two excellent search engines around now it's just as easy to search for what you want.

YAESU FT 102 - Blown Lamps? Can't get original? - or alternative axial lamps

I found some 12 volt 100mA mini lamps do the job very well. Below is picture of the lamps. The leads are actually colour coded for the of the lamp voltage. The blue covering of the original lamps neatly fits over these. The resulting illumination of the meter is indistinguishable from the original axial lamps. mini lampsMy lamps came from http://www.jacar.com.au but I would imagine that they are available from similar electronic stores around the world.

Good News, John K14NR has found a supply of lamps very similar to the original. Go to http://www.partsexpress.com part number to the lamps are  070-280
