How to get a reading
A psychic reading can take many forms. Whether a reader uses palmistry, numerology, astrology, or the Tarot; if a reader is psychic than the reading will be a psychic reading. The cards or the palm are only starting points and not a final destination. All external objects used for the purpose of divination should be used as guideposts only. A good reader should only utilize these things as a method of turning inward or to alter states of consciousness. Cards, a natal chart, or a crystal ball should never control a reading; although they could provide grounding for the client and confirmation for the reader.
A palm reading consists of interpreting the lines and mounts of the palm; as well as, hand color, texture, and shape. The origin of palmistry is lost in antiquity but is slowly being validated by modern sciences. It is being put to practical use in such diverse fields as medical diagnosis and job counseling.
The tarot is a deck of 78 cards used for divination purposes. Like most occult sciences its origins are lost in time. Modern psychology, however, has shown that the Tarot symbolism is archetypically universal in its application.
Anyone can study reliable time proven methods of palmistry and give a book learned reading. Anyone could learn a base phrase associated with each card in the Tarot pack and give a surprisingly accurate reading that way, as well. These sciences, however were designed (by whoever designed them) to be mnemonic devices; that is designed to tap into the unconscious, the collective unconscious, or even the super conscious mind. The dabbler may at times find himself revealing startlingly accurate knowledge when using these systems of divination.
What of the expert or the professional? Palmistry or the Tarot is; once again, instruments or vehicles in which to get from one place to another. Are there some people who have graduated past them? Are there some people who have learned to enter into altered states of consciousness at will without the aid of mnemonic devices?
Yes. Of course.
It was Albert Einstein who came close to proving that past, present, and future are all one; that we just choose to perceive time in a linear fashion. It was Carl Jung who presented the idea that all of humanity is linked together since the dawn of time in a vast collective consciousness. Has it been proved that memory moves forward as well as backward? Maybe. Waves of matter smaller that the atom are being discovered and mastered every day. Whose to say that emotions of love and hate are not a wave of energy yet to be discovered. If a concrete slab is vibrating at a molecular level whose to say that emotions, thoughts, and actions are not vibrating some where in the past which is the same places as the future. What if there are a few people, if not all of us, that can tune in and interpret these vibrations.
There, now. Is the idea of a psychic reading really so hard to grasp. Einstein said it.
If all of these theories are close to being true than an ethical and gifted reader can access an altered state by holding an often worn ring or listening carefully to your spoken name. The level a reader operates at and the vibrations of your personal energy are not bound by space or time. If a video can be made of past events to be viewed in the future and a satellite can beam information hundreds of miles than a reader can give you an accurate reading over the phone. The same minds that have thought up the current technologies are the same minds that can operate on a deeply intuitive level: Yours and mine.
