NQT is a 25 year old Recently (!) Qualified Teacher (Secondary) of 2 Humanities subjects: Religious Studies and History.

Oh mi God, it's nearly Summer. Another year nearly gone.... I went to the year eleven's leaving do the other night - blimey, it made me feel old. It also made me remember the A Level kids I taught on TP, they'll be 21/22 now..... The scary thing will be when you've been at it so long that kids you used to teach turn up on parents evening....
Boo dee hoo!
But, you know, that's three years in teaching now and I'm moving on to a new job in September. It does get easier, well, in terms of your sense of knowing what you're doing lasts for at least five minutes every day.... I can't help feeling that this comfortable safety will be noticeably absent in September, but hey.. I mean, that's part of the reason I'm moving on. Glutton.....
