I'm a dark-haired, dark-eyed female, somewhere between the ages of fifteen and fifty, living in the Western Hemisphere, third planet from the star called Sol. I am a product of public schools, which can be a pretty scary thing in this day and age (think Monty Python jokes. I'm serious here). I have a mother and a father and a sibling, who all live over four hundred miles away from me (which has improved familial relations, let me tell you!). As you can probably guess, I enjoy anime. One of my favorite animes is Fushigi Yuugi, in case you couldn't figure it out *wink*. Here on this site you'll find my Fushigi Yuugi fanfics, and any other fics I can dredge out of the cesspool inside my skull. I also enjoy drawing. When asked what I draw, I usually answer, "Nekkid people." *shrug* I'm not a portraitist, nor a landscape or still life artist. I suck at the anime style. And saying "nekkid people" usually satisfies people's prurient interest and they go away and leave me alone, so that I can continue drawing nekkid people. What, did you think I was kidding? *snicker* I'm also an avid costumer -- I love costumes. Never did outgrow Hallowe'en. But, believe it or not, I really have no interest in Cosplay. My main interests in costume are historical, and historically-inspired fantasy. I tend to have a preference for the structured and tailored as opposed to the foofy and flouncy. I have a costume section because I'm damn proud of my costumes, and if I'm going to indulge my miniature exhibitionist streak on the 'web, then I'm gonna show off my costumes. In the end, I'm really a private person. The only pictures you'll see of me here are in the costume section, and that's only because I don't own a dressmaker's dummy (anyway, I think costumes look best on people, not mannequins). There really isn't a whole lot more for me to say, so I'll just let my work speak for itself. Let me know what you think. Have fun, or at least a veritable facsimile thereof. (Oh, yeah -- no, red isn't my favorite color. It's blue.) |
