He married Tanya Marie Cromwell Dec. 16, 1995. Tanya was born Jan. 12, 1975. Tanya is the daughter of Terry Dale Cromwell and Julie Marie Gallaway. At 21 years of age Tanya became the mother of Aaron Mykel Kerr March 30, 1996. At 22 years of age Tanya became the mother of Andrew Charles Kerr May 9, 1997.

At 22 years of age James became the father of Aaron Mykel Kerr March 30, 1996. At 23 years of age James became the father of Andrew Charles Kerr May 9, 1997.

James Kerr and Tanya Marie Cromwell had the following children:
