Amanda was the daughter of William Melton Mathis and Lucinda Pamela Charlotte Bussa. Amanda died May 25, 1944 Calhoun County, Mississippi, at 71 years of age. Her body was interred aft. May 25, 1944 Pittsboro, Calhoun County, Mississippi, Old Town Cemetery. At 20 years of age Amanda became the mother of Ballard Harmon Pontotoc, Pontotoc County, Mississippi, Feb. 1894. At 22 years of age Amanda became the mother of Claude Beron Depots Harmon Pontotoc, Pontotoc County, Mississippi, Feb. 23, 1896. At 24 years of age Amanda became the mother of Calvin Pinkney Harmon Pontotoc, Pontotoc County, Mississippi, Aug. 24, 1897. At 26 years of age Amanda became the mother of Sarah Carlotte "Lottie" Harmon Pontotoc, Pontotoc County, Mississippi, Nov. 3, 1899. At 29 years of age Amanda became the mother of Hassie Lorraine Harmon Mississippi, Aug. 31, 1902. At 30 years of age Amanda became the mother of William Dexter Harmon Mississippi, July 31, 1903. At 32 years of age Amanda became the mother of Anna Bell Harmon Mississippi, Oct. 23, 1905. At 32 years of age Amanda became the mother of Eula Mae Harmon Mississippi, Oct. 23, 1905. Howard became the father of Connie Mae Vaughan Calhoun County, Mississippi, Nov. 16, 1922. Howard became the father of Janice "Lynda" Vaughan Derma, Calhoun County, Mississippi, July 1, 1924. Howard became the father of Earline "Sally" Vaughan Arkansas, May 25, 1926. Howard became the father of Lyle Crawford "Sam" Vaughan Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, June 14, 1928. At 25 years of age Hassie became the mother of Lyle Crawford "Sam" Vaughan Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, June 14, 1928. At 27 years of age Hassie became the mother of Violet Vaughan Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, Feb. 14, 1930.

8 vii. Anna Bell Harmon was born Mississippi Oct. 23, 1905. She married Theo Barney Cozart Pittsboro, Calhoun, Mississippi, Feb. 28, 1929. Theo was born Calhoun County, Mississippi June 6, 1908. Theo died Sept. 2, 1975 Pittsboro, Calhoun County, Mississippi, at 67 years of age. Dee died May 10, 1938 Pittsboro, Calhoun County, Mississippi, at 34 years of age. His body was interred aft. May 10, 1938 Pittsboro, Calhoun County, Mississippi, Old Town Cemetery. At 23 years of age Dee became the father of Hubert Wayne Bryant July 30, 1927. At 25 years of age Dee became the father of James Arthur Bryant Pittsboro, Calhoun County, Mississippi, Nov. 4, 1929. 10 ix. Rosa Lee Harmon⁽¹¹⁶⁾ was born Mississippi Aug. 20, 1909. She married Henry Allen McCay Chickasaw County, Mississippi, Aug. 10, 1929. Henry was born Alabama Sept. 28, 1909. Henry died April 29, 1988 Angelina County, Texas, at 78 years of age. His body was interred aft. April 29, 1988 Vidor, Angelina County, Texas.

11 x. Maxie Harmon⁽¹¹⁷⁾ was born Calhoun County, Mississippi May 23, 1912. Maxie died April 29, 1966 Jackson, Hinds County, Miossissippi, at 53 years of age. His body was interred aft. April 29, 1966 Pittsboro, Calhoun County, Mississippi, Pittsboro City Cemetery. He married Katherine Avo Sprull Vardaman, Calhoun County, Mississippi, Jan. 11, 1936. Katherine was born Webster County, Mississippi Aug. 31, 1916.

12 xi. James Franklin Harmon⁽¹¹⁸⁾ was born Calhoun County, Mississippi May 22, 1914. James died Feb. 23, 1986 Houston, Harris County, Texas, at 71 years of age. His body was interred Feb. 25, 1986 Parker County, Texas, Woodlawn Cemetery. He married Jimmie Francis King Calhoun County, Mississippi, Sept. 11, 1938. Jimmie was born Slate Springs, Calhoun County, Mississippi Jan. 5, 1920.

13 xii. Jasper Floyd Harmon was born Calhoun County, Mississippi June 15, 1917. Jasper died Feb. 7, 1995 Houston, Harris County, Texas, at 77 years of age. His body was interred Feb. 9, 1995 Houston, Harris County, Texas, Houston National Cemetery. He married Sue Ellen Wyatt Pittsboro, Calhoun County, Mississippi, Aug. 12, 1946.
