Hassie died June 30, 1990 Houston, Harris County, Texas, at 87 years of age. Her body was interred aft. June 30, 1990 Houston, Harris County, Texas, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. At 20 years of age Hassie became the mother of Connie Mae Vaughan Calhoun County, Mississippi, Nov. 16, 1922. At 21 years of age Hassie became the mother of Janice "Lynda" Vaughan Derma, Calhoun County, Mississippi, July 1, 1924. At 23 years of age Hassie became the mother of Earline "Sally" Vaughan Arkansas, May 25, 1926. At 25 years of age Hassie became the mother of Lyle Crawford "Sam" Vaughan Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, June 14, 1928. At 27 years of age Hassie became the mother of Violet Vaughan Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, Feb. 14, 1930.

Howard became the father of Connie Mae Vaughan Calhoun County, Mississippi, Nov. 16, 1922. Howard became the father of Janice "Lynda" Vaughan Derma, Calhoun County, Mississippi, July 1, 1924. Howard became the father of Earline "Sally" Vaughan Arkansas, May 25, 1926. Howard became the father of Lyle Crawford "Sam" Vaughan Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, June 14, 1928. Howard became the father of Violet Vaughan Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, Feb. 14, 1930.

Howard Thomas Emerson Vaughan and Hassie Lorraine Harmon had the following children:

2 i. Connie Mae² Vaughan was born Calhoun County, Mississippi Nov. 16, 1922. Connie died Nov. 18, 1992 Houston, Harris County, Texas, at 70 years of age. Her body was interred aft. Nov. 18, 1992 Houston, Harris County, Texas, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. She married Thurman Russell Scifres Greenville, Washington County, Mississippi, April 12, 1942. Thurman was born Star City, Lincoln County, Arkansas Nov. 14, 1916. At 26 years of age Thurman became the father of Billy Wayne Scifres Houston, Harris County, Texas, Feb. 23, 1943. At 20 years of age Connie became the mother of Billy Wayne Scifres Houston, Harris County, Texas, Feb. 23, 1943.

3 ii. Janice "Lynda" Vaughan⁽³³¹⁾ was born Derma, Calhoun County, Mississippi July 1, 1924. She married twice. She married Arthur Brian Kelhofer Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, Sept. 14, 1946. Arthur was born Shanghai, China Oct. 24, 1924. Arthur died 1986. She married Unknown Moselle aft. 1960.

4 iii. Earline "Sally" Vaughan was born Arkansas May 25, 1926. Earline died Aug. 1945 Coral Gables, Dade County, Florida, at 19 years of age. Her body was interred Aug. 1945 Coral Gables, Dade County, Florida, Woodlawn Park Cemetery. She married Frank McBroom Charleston, Charleston County, South Carolina, 1943.

5 iv. Lyle Crawford "Sam" Vaughan⁽³³²⁾ was born Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas June 14, 1928. He married Unknown Marcontel.

6 v. Violet Vaughan was born Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas Feb. 14, 1930. Violet died Nov. 1930 Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas. Her body was interred Nov. 1930 Lepanto, Poinsett County, Arkansas, Potters Field Cemetery.
