William Jiles had the following child:

2 i. Tabitha² Giles. She married Rev. Elijah Truitt. Rev. was born Delaware abt. 1773. Rev. was the son of Jarman Truitt Sr. and Nancy Unknown. Rev. died May 7, 1853 Concord Township, Ross County, Ohio, at 79 years of age. His body was interred aft. May 7, 1853 Union Township, Ross County, Ohio. At 19 years of age Rev. became the father of Gilead Truitt Delaware, April 29, 1793. (See Rev. Elijah Truitt for the continuation of this line.)

Tabitha became the mother of Gilead Truitt Delaware, April 29, 1793.
