1. William John¹ Dickson was born Kaituna. Valley, Marton, New Zealand Jan. 6, 1877. William died April 21, 1950 Marton, New Zealand, at 73 years of age. His body was interred April 23, 1950 Marton, New Zealand, Mount View Cemetery.

He married Maude Preston Player Wairau, Blemheim, Dec. 19, 1900. Maude was born Wellington, New Zealand Aug. 3, 1877. Maude was the daughter of David Preston Player and Ellen Eliza Stratford. Maude died April 23, 1930 Marton, New Zealand. Her body was interred aft. April 23, 1930 Marton, New Zealand, Mount Veiw Cemetery. Maude became the mother of Ellen Elizabeth Dickson New Zealand, Aug. 19, 1901. Maude became the mother of Margaret Moir "Rosie" Dickson Aug. 11, 1903. Maude became the mother of Isabelle Alice Player Dickson Marton, New Zealand, March 4, 1905. Maude became the mother of John David Dickson Marton, New Zealand, Sept. 21, 1907. Maude became the mother of William George Dickson Nov. 28, 1910.

At 24 years of age William became the father of Ellen Elizabeth Dickson New Zealand, Aug. 19, 1901. At 26 years of age William became the father of Margaret Moir "Rosie" Dickson Aug. 11, 1903. At 28 years of age William became the father of Isabelle Alice Player Dickson Marton, New Zealand, March 4, 1905. At 30 years of age William became the father of John David Dickson Marton, New Zealand, Sept. 21, 1907. At 33 years of age William became the father of William George Dickson Nov. 28, 1910.

William John Dickson and Maude Preston Player had the following children:

2 i. Ellen Elizabeth² Dickson was born New Zealand Aug. 19, 1901. Ellen died June 19, 1985 at 83 years of age. She married George Ross Dallas June 3, 1924. George was born 1897. At 30 years of age George became the father of Duncan Dallas 1927. At 31 years of age George became the father of Roderick Dallas 1928. At 33 years of age George became the father of Ronald Dallas 1930. (See George Ross Dallas for the continuation of this line.)

At 25 years of age Ellen became the mother of Duncan Dallas 1927. At 26 years of age Ellen became the mother of Roderick Dallas 1928. At 28 years of age Ellen became the mother of Ronald Dallas 1930.

3 ii. Margaret Moir "Rosie" Dickson⁽⁸⁹⁾ was born Aug. 11, 1903. Margaret died Aug. 6, 1967 at 63 years of age. She married Alexander Fitzsimmons April 23, 1937.

4 iii. Isabelle Alice Player Dickson was born Marton, New Zealand March 4, 1905. Isabelle died April 12, 1978 Wanganui, New Zealand, at 73 years of age. Her body was interred April 15, 1978 Wanganui, New Zealand, Aramoho Cemetery. She married three times. She married David Sutherland abt. 1927. David was born Wellington, New Zealand 1902. At 26 years of age David became the father of Mavis Eileen Sutherland Wanganui, New Zealand, Aug. 26, 1928. (See David Sutherland for the continuation of this line.) She married John Anderson Pedley Registry Office, Waganui, New Zealand, March 5, 1937. John was born Wanganui, New Zealand Sept. 10, 1874. At 23 years of age Isabelle became the mother of Mavis Eileen Sutherland Wanganui, New Zealand, Aug. 26, 1928.

5 iv. John David Dickson was born Marton, New Zealand Sept. 21, 1907. John died Aug. 4, 1987 Palmerson North, Manawuto, New Zealand, at 79 years of age. He married Clara Myrtle Ransom Sept. 23, 1933. Clara was born Wanganui, New Zealand July 15, 1905. (Additional notes for Clara Myrtle Ransom⁽⁹¹⁾) Clara died Sept. 30, 1987 Marton, New Zealand, at 82 years of age.

6 v. William George Dickson was born Nov. 28, 1910. William died Oct. 26, 1929 Marton, New Zealand, at 18 years of age.
