He married Myra Alice Newkirk Bismark, North Dakota, Sept. 24, 1920. Myra was born Iowa Aug. 14, 1898. Myra was the daughter of James Cornelius Newkirk and Alice Annette Strong. Myra died Jan. 16, 1981 National City, San Diego County, California, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred aft. Jan. 16, 1981 San Diego, California, Greenwood Muasolem. At 22 years of age Myra became the mother of Alice Margaret Arnold Bismark, North Dakota, May 5, 1921. At 24 years of age Myra became the mother of Fay James Arnold Bismark, North Dakota, June 11, 1923. At 26 years of age Myra became the mother of Myra Virginia Arnold Bismark, North Dakota, Oct. 25, 1924. At 27 years of age Myra became the mother of Esther Arnold Bismark, North Dakota, March 15, 1926. At 30 years of age Myra became the mother of Harold Clinton Arnold Jr. New England, North Dakota, Oct. 27, 1928. At 33 years of age Myra became the mother of David Montgomery Arnold Sr. Dalton Garden, Idaho, July 20, 1932.

At 29 years of age Harold became the father of Alice Margaret Arnold Bismark, North Dakota, May 5, 1921. At 31 years of age Harold became the father of Fay James Arnold Bismark, North Dakota, June 11, 1923. At 32 years of age Harold became the father of Myra Virginia Arnold Bismark, North Dakota, Oct. 25, 1924. At 34 years of age Harold became the father of Esther Arnold Bismark, North Dakota, March 15, 1926. At 36 years of age Harold became the father of Harold Clinton Arnold Jr. New England, North Dakota, Oct. 27, 1928. At 40 years of age Harold became the father of David Montgomery Arnold Sr. Dalton Garden, Idaho, July 20, 1932.

Harold Clinton Arnold and Myra Alice Newkirk had the following children:

2 i. Alice Margaret² Arnold was born Bismark, North Dakota May 5, 1921. Alice died May 30, 1997 Springfield, Lane County, Oregon, at 76 years of age. Her body was interred aft. May 30, 1997 Springfield, Lane County, Oregon, Camp Creek Cemetery. She married Ernest Valerio 1950. Ernest was born Las Vegas, Neveda Sept. 20, 1916. Ernest died May 26, 1961 Grants, New Mexico, at 44 years of age. His body was interred aft. May 26, 1961 Grants, New Mexico. At 39 years of age Ernest became the father of Ernest "Jim" Valerio Kellogg, Idaho, Nov. 4, 1955. At 40 years of age Ernest became the father of David Valerio Fruita, Idaho, July 31, 1957. At 34 years of age Alice became the mother of Ernest "Jim" Valerio Kellogg, Idaho, Nov. 4, 1955. At 36 years of age Alice became the mother of David Valerio Fruita, Idaho, July 31, 1957. At 38 years of age Alice became the mother of Angela Valerio New Mexico, Nov. 1, 1959.

3 ii. Fay James Arnold⁽¹³⁾ was born Bismark, North Dakota June 11, 1923. Fay died May 18, 1947 Mullan, Kootenai County, Idaho, at 23 years of age. His body was interred aft. May 18, 1947 Coeru d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho, Forest Cemetery.

4 iii. Myra Virginia Arnold was born Bismark, North Dakota Oct. 25, 1924. She married Richard Lenz abt. 1940. (See Richard Lenz for the continuation of this line.)
