Cindy Evers
Moon Goddess; Bringer of Light

Cindy is a native of Wisconsin. Before coming to Austin, she called Mishicot her home. She is a graduate of Concordia University (WI), and is currently in graduate school at The University of Texas. Her parents, Kenneth and Marilyn, currently live just outside of Mishicot. Her sister, MaryLynn, is a physical therapist in Wisconsin. One of Cindy's favorite memories is playing hide-and-seek tag in her back yard as a child. She was reading Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, but the large amount of coursework reading has caused her to shelve (literally!) that novel. She has been to several places, including Big Bend National Park.
For those of you who do not know Cindy, that is extremely unfortunate. There are a multitude of great things about her. Allow me to be a little self-indulgent and tell you a few of them.

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..."
- Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Cindy, here are but a few reasons why I love you so:
  • the breathtaking beauty of your smile
  • your obsession with the left lane on 35th St.
  • the way you drink flat soda from cans
  • how good you smell all the time
  • your unique pronunciation of words like "bag" and "tag"
  • the constant need to crack your back
  • how you feel in my arms
  • you responded to my email
  • you buy me cookies for no reason
  • your nose is always cold!
  • you are the perfect height for me!
  • the way you inspire me to do and be more
  • all of those little birthmarks
  • how you can speak to me without saying a word
  • I ask for 18 cents, and you give me a dollar
  • your passion for nature
  • you can beat me at Trivial Pursuit
  • the power of your kiss
  • the way you can make up new words to suit your needs
  • the need you have to use your headlights all the time
  • the softness of your skin
  • the unbridled joy in your laughter
  • strong hands that can crush aluminum cans
  • frenzied bursts of weirdness
  • that beautiful curly hair
  • the love you have for me
  • your good and pure nature
  • the way you see my love for you in my eyes
  • God has brought you to me
