Think about these:
- A real and generous worker of Christ
has a strong desire to give everything to God; to consecrate her whole life.
- She is able to live harmoniously with
herself and with others.
- She is willing to give her life and
her talents to the missionary work of the Institute.
- She has physical, mental, and
emotional stability.
- She has a spirit of sacrifice to
enable her to respond faithfully to God's call.
- She has an ardent desire to save souls
for Jesus
Anyone who aspires to follow Christ more
closely through the life of the Franciscan Apostolic Sisters must write a written
application stating:
- right intention, freedom of choice
- she does not suffer from any contagious or
chronic illness
- aptitudes and attraction for the mission of
the Institute
- adequate physical and mental health
- an intelligence sufficient to understand the
FAS way of life & a level of education equivalent to second year college
- at right age, that is not before her 18th
birthday and not more than 40 years
- she must be free from any financial obligation
to anyone
- she must be free from all canonical
impediments as contracted marriage
