Why was Evelyn annie know as Mann ?
Does this mean she was adopted by the grandparents,
and not John Clarke when he married her mother Mary elizabeth.
In the WILL of Evelyn's Grandmother, Harriet, Evelyn is the only Grandchild
to be a benificiary!
As both families seem to be living in the Newton / Karagahape Rd area
perhapes local school records will reveal some clues.
