"Growing with God"
The Alphins have focused their ministry upon teaching children how to develop and maintain a personal relationship with God. Under the leadership of Rev. William L. Sciscoe, they have learned the important quality of teamwork. Together, they lead “Warriors in Training”, a ministry of their assembly designed by them specifically for children ages 5 to 12. Both are also involved in other leadership capacities and ministry functions, including Sunday School and Children’s Outreach. Mark graduated from ITT Technical Institute in 1991 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Electronic Engineering Technology (AS-EET), and is currently pursuing license with the U.P.C.I. Glenda earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Apostolic Bible Institute as a part of the jubilee class of 1987. They are currently working on a second book, which will compliment Growing with God, their first set of doctrinal lessons for children. The Alphins reside in Columbus, Ohio with their two daughters, Miranda and Candace.
