Original Poetry

First, I would like to tell you a little about how I started writing. I never used to like writing for school assignments and things. I could never find any kind of inspiration just because someone told me to, so I didn't. I really even doubted that I could write any kind of poetry or anything else. Anyway, in early 1995, something happened that I just had all of these ideas for writing. I got a pen and paper, and my feelings just poured onto the paper. I can't explain it and I don't know why, it just happened. I haven't included that particular poem in the collection, but that is the way it happens when I do write. I get a thought going and it seems to take on a life of its own, so to speak. I write off and on, when I get to writing, I usually write several at a time (within a few days or a week, etc.). I haven't written any new material in a while, so I hope the urge hits soon. If you have any questions or comments about my poems, please feel free to sign the Visitors Book or e-mail me, and I will try answer to the best of my ability. I hope you enjoy my poetry.
