For school children starting to learn to play music at home or in school, we offer these great sounding, great playing, entry level instruments that exceed our expectations. For over 25 years we have repaired and serviced school and professional stringed instruments in New England, as well as over 20 years of instrument building experience. The instruments and services we are offering are both fair and of high quality. Having worked with both Eastman Strings and Meisel for many years, we have decided to offer their beginners and higher grade instruments at very reasonable rates, with both full and limited warranties depending on what you feel best fits your needs.

1. Buy your instrument: starting at $285.00, we offer you to buy instruments outright at the lowest possible price with a manufacturers warranty plus a limited one year warranty by us, which includes set-ups and replacement bridges on all violin family instruments.

2. We offer a monthly rental program where if your young musician decides this is not the thing for them, you return the instrument with no additional obligation, but at the end of three (3) months you have the option to switch to a lease-to-own program.

3. A lease-to-own package, which includes upgrades to a full-size instrument in the category/model of instrument of your choice, i.e. most children at age 8, need a 1/2 size violin and will go to a 3/4 at about 9 or 10 and a full-size by 12. You are able to, for example, lease to own a Meisel Mozart model for 2 years at $15 a month which would be $360. You start with a 1/2 size violin, and would be able to trade up to a full-size in the same model with no price increase, or change to an upgraded model using your payment of 2 years towards that upgrade.

We also offer viola, cello and basses for beginners to professional grade instruments, though at this time we will not offer cellos and basses on a rental or lease plan. Still, we are able to offer these instruments at substantial savings far below anyone else, and also offer great service.

In addition, we are able to offer both sales, service or referrals on almost any stringed instrument, electric or acoustic, including guitars, electric basses, banjos, mandolins and hand drums. Please feel free to inquire about whatever instrument you might be interested in.
