BROWNIE ADVENTURE'S AND PLANNED EVENTS

The Brownie Programme has now been updated. The new Brownie Adventure provides for continuity and developemnt through all sections in the Guiding Movement. The aim of the Brownie Adventure is to enable the girl to develop in all six areas (Social, Emotional, Intellectual, Physical, Spritual) whatever her ability or background. All programmes throughout the Guiding Movement are known as the Five Essentials.

The Five Essentials are:

• Brownies Work Together in Small Groups
• Brownies Are Encouraged to Govern Themselves and Make Their Own Decisions
• Brownies Have a Balanced and Varied Programme
• Brownies Care for the Individual
• Brownies Share a Commitment to a Common Standard
