trees;
glistening lakes;
and rain that falls more than
2 months out of the year,
all provide a strong contrast to his previous hunting grounds in
Arizona and New Mexico.
The one unfortunate geographical feature about his current nesting site, is a complete lack of mountains of any kind. However, despite the loss of a spectacular window view; Flowbug has managed to build a prosperous hive in his most recent (and likely permanent) migration.

It was just one week before Thanksgiving, in 2003, when he made the long journey from the dry, infertile sands of southern Arizona and began construction on this newest settlement. The dusty mountain deserts were
his home for about two years; whereas previous to that,
he grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
