Claire Dienhart's Rowing Page
Head of the Charles 1998

This is the boat that went to the Head of the Charles 1998. That's me at the stroke seat (first one facing you). I will never forget that day. What a great experience.

Me on the Hudson River I row on the crew team at Marist College and I love it. It is a lot of hard work and many hours, but it is definitely worth it. I have gained so much discipline and focus. I rowed all four years at Marist and was the stroke of the Varsity 8 for 3 years and I loved every minute of it. I will never forget the fun and friendships I have from being on the Crew team.

Marist College Crew Oar

There's nothing better than getting up for 5:45 a.m. practice I just stumbled on this page that really explains a lot of things about crew for those who really don't know what it's all about. It's a great page and I encourage you to take a look, even rowers can learn something.
