Marikina Risk Perception Study

Field surveyor April to June 2003:
A project undertaken by the University of the Philippines Geography Dept., I interviewed 100 Marikina City residents on their perception on natural hazards particularly earthquakes. This is in collaboration with PHIVOLCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology). This large project is conceptualized and funded by Japan Earthquake Disaster Management and JICA.

Undergrad Fieldwork

Physical and Socioeconomic Profile (PSeP) Survey April to June 2002:
We went to Albay province in Bicol, Philippines. As a field methods course, my team particularly did the PSeP of Malilipot town, located next to the northeast slope of Mayon volcano.
