2002 Season:

2001 Race Across Oregon:

Accepting Gatorade from my dad near Mt. Hood Ski Bowl on Highway 26.

Riding with my high school club's advisor/coach, Mike Ruff, about 175 miles into the race.

A little friendly competition with Ruff? Roughly the same location as above, in the John Day Fossil Beds.

2001 Season:

Chris and Mike - camping trip near Chemult (Mike is on 2002 RAAM crew).

Mike - exploring a route from Silver Creek Falls to Lyons... on the road bikes. One of my crazy ideas for RAO training.

Mike - a little later on the same training ride. I guess this is why road bikes have slick tires.
