SERVING HINT

The first thing to remember about serving,
always have it come from your devoted slave-heart.
Let your feelings flow from deep within....
take a deep breath and remember to use adjectives,
allow the Masters/Mistress's to"feel" your total devotion.
The simplest way to do this is to clear your mind, actually "see" your serve.
Use many descriptions and try NEVER to use the same word twice in one stanza.
By doing this it will help the Master/Mistress "watch"you as well.
Keep your head is always lifted high,
this shows the Master/Mistress that you are proud that he/she has selected you
to please Him/Her, an honor for any kajira.
When you are ready to serve, alwayskneel at his/her feet;
and before you offer the drink or food,
ALWAYS
place it over your devoted slave-heart for three beats
to show your submission to Him/Her and your serve.
Lift the goblet, bowl, glass, cup...to your warm lips,
softly kiss the rim...this ensures there is no poision,
and also ensures the perfect tempurature and taste
forMaster's/Mistress's flawless lips to touch.
NEVER EVERleave this nadu position until the Master/Mistress dismisses you.
Remember, a kajiras serve ALWAYS comes from her heart, never a popup,

In this position the slave moves to their stomach, face down to the floor and turned to the left, crossing their wrists behind at the small of their back, and similarly crossing their ankles, their legs straight, in preparation for binding.

Bracelets--
In this standard binding position, the slave stands, facing away from the Master/Mistress, back and shoulders straight with their hands behind their back, wrists together in preparation for slave bracelets to be attached.

Crawl--
The slave gets down onto all fours, from their palms to their elbows are flat onto the tiles. Buttocks in the air, their head is dropped so their forehead almost touches to the ground. In this position they then crawl to the Master's/Mistress's feet.

Display Position--
The slave stands, hands clasped behind their neck, elbows out, shoulders arched back to thrust, her breasts forward, or, his chest outward, feet parted.
~~*The auctioneer did not strike her with his whip. He merely took her arms and lifted them, so that the position chain, attached to each side of the sales collar lay across her her upper arms. Then he had her clasp her hands behind the back of her neck, so that the chain, on each side of the collar, was in the crook of her arms, and she was exposed in such a way that she could be properly exhibited.

Hair Position--
In this position the slave stands, their feet flat on the floor, and bows at the waist, that their hair might fall forward for display, or to be seized, or used for any purpose that the Master/Mistress desires. Another variant is to stay in the position the slave was in and just offer their hair to the Master/Mistress from that position.

Heel--
The slave goes to the Master's/Mistress's left if He/She is right handed, right if left handed and about one and a half paces behind Him/Her. The slave follows His/Her movements from that point.

High-Harness Position--
This is a position used most often with display slaves. The slave holds their head very high, exposing her neck.

Leading Position--
The slave stands and moves behind their Master/Mistress, slightly to His/Her left or right side depending on which of His/Her hands is dominant, bending at the waist. The slave places their hands behind them, placing the side of their head to their Master's/Mistress's hip, that He/She might lead the slave easily by the hair while walking.

Lesha--
From the Gorean word Lesha, which translates as "leash." In this position, is either standing or kneeling, depending upon the current position the slave is in and the location of the Master/Mistress. The slave turns and puts their back to their Master/MIstress, their chin up, their head turned to the left so a leash may be attached to their collar, with their back and shoulders straight. The slaves wrists are extended behind them, side by side. It may also be called High Lesha and Low Lesha depending on the position of the slave (as in kneeling or standing).
~~*"`Lesha," snapped the second officer to the blond girl. She spun from facing him, and lifted her chin, turning her head to the left, placing her wrists behind her, as though for snapping them into slave bracelets.

Nadu--
The first and most often used of all of the Gorean slave positions, and one of the first ones a slave learns. In this position the slave kneels, their bottom resting on their heels with their back and shoulders straight, their chest out, belly in, and their head up, though they avert their eyes to the floor. Their thighs are open, widely spread, their hands rest upon their thighs palms upward or downwards depending on training.
~~*`Nadu!' he snapped. She swiftly turned, facing him, and dropped to her knees. She knelt back on her heels, her back straight, her hands on her thighs, her head up, her knees wide. It was the position of the pleasure slave.

Obeisance--
There are three different forms of this position though all have the same basic meaning behind it. Each is a show of slave submission.
1) the slave kneels in nadu with their head lowered.
2) from nadu, the slave lowers their head to the ground, placing their hands against the ground, palms lowered. (this is sometimes refered to as karta)
3) the slave moves to their belly and slowly inches forward to the Master's/Mistress's feet and at that point proceeds to lick and kiss at them before bellying back somewhat. (this position is known among many as the "belly" position)

"First, kneel before me, back on your heels, yes, with your knees wide, wider, your hands on your thighs, your back straight, your breasts out, good, your belly in, good, and now lower your head in deference, in submission." It is, at any rate, a beautiful position, and it is, certainly, a common position of slave submission." Prostrate--
The slave kneels, placing their head to the floor, arms outstretched before them and palms downwards. This is a supplication position.

She-Sleen--
In this position the slave moves to their elbows and knees, hands laced behind their neck with their head to the ground and buttocks thrust upwards, thighs parted in display.

He put his hands, under my arms, on my breasts, sweetly and firmly. Then he moved his bands back, caressing my flanks. My head was down. My fingers were together, behind the back of my neck. I was in his collar. It was steel, I could not remove it. I belonged to him. My body hurt, from his whip, that of my Master. It is an instruction where the slave performs her regular duties upon hands and knees, without the benefit of the use of her hands like an animal. She may not rise to her feet and may use only her mouth and teeth to grasp and manipulate objects, she is also forbidden human speech

Slave Lips--
In this position the slave turns their head towards the Master, their lips pursed as if begging a kiss. They may not speak nor break this position until released from it, either verbally or with a kiss.
~~*Similarly, I was not required to respond to certain sorts of commands, for example, to make "slave lips," pursing my lips for kissing, or to writhe slowly before my viewers.

Slave Rape Position--
You can infer from the books that there are many types but the standard is that the girl lays motionless and supine in preparation to be raped.
~~* I went to the side of the room and picked up my sea bag. I threw it to the center of the room. She looked down at it puzzled. It was of heavy blue material, canvas, and tied with a white rope. "Lie down upon it," I told her, "on your back, your head to the floor." She did so. "No, please," she said, "not like this." It is a common position for a disciplinary slave rape. In it the woman feels very vulnerable, very helpless. I then took her.

Submission Position--
Sometimes referred to as the ko`laring position or posture of a slave in submission. In this position the slave kneels at the Master's/Mistress's feet and leans their body back, sitting upon their heels, with their arms extended upward, crossed at the wrists, and their head beneath them lowered in supplication.

Sula--
In this position, a slave lays upon their back, their hands at their sides, palms upward, thier legs widely spread, to await their Master's/Mitress's pleasure. It is primarily a usage and display position.

Sula-Ki--
This position is similar to Sula with the exception that the hips are raised from the ground as if beconing to a Master/Mistress or pleading for use.

Table--
In this position the slave goes to their hands and kneels, back flat, head lowered slightly and locks their position so that they may be used as a table or resting place for the Master/Mistress.

Tower Slave Position (Tower Kneel)--
This position is typically reserved for white-silk kajirae, or slavegirls who serve their Master/Mistress in a non-sexual way, such as a Tower Slave, work slaves, and kajiri of all types. The slave kneels similar to Nadu but with thighs modestly closed, palms downward and wrists crossed.
~~*"The position of the Tower Slave, in which Vika knelt, differs from that of a free woman only in the position of the wrists which are held before her and, when not occupied, crossed as though for binding...The position of the Pleasure Slave, incidentally, differs from the position of both the free woman and the Tower Slave. The hands of a Pleasure Slave normally rest on her thighs but, in some cities, for example, Thentis, I believe, they are crossed behind her. More significantly, for the free woman's hands may also rest on her thighs, there is a difference in the placement of the knees. In all these kneeling positions, incidentally, even that of the Pleasure Slave, the Gorean woman carries herself well; her back is straight and her chin is high. Whipping Position--
Also called "kneeling to the whip". In this position the slave kneels in nadu and then leans forward, sweeping their hair off of their body as they rest their head to the floor, arms then crossing against their belly, their back exposed.
