He married Lucinda Earnhart Miami County, Ohio, Nov. 6, 1867. Lucinda was born Ohio Sept. 26, 1848. Lucinda was the daughter of John Earnhart and Elizabeth Mary Robinson. Lucinda died July 4, 1868 Troy, Miami County, Ohio, at 19 years of age. At 19 years of age Lucinda became the mother of William J. Westlake June 1868.
John became the father of William J. Westlake June 1868.
