1. Oliver¹ Wharton was born Bucks County, Pennsylvania May 17, 1807.

He married Jane Duer abt. 1827. Jane was born Pennsylvania Feb. 16, 1804. Jane was the daughter of William Hollinshead Duer and Charlotte Anderson. Jane died Aug. 11, 1877 at 73 years of age. Jane became the mother of Rebecca Wharton Miami County, Ohio.

Oliver became the father of Rebecca Wharton Miami County, Ohio.

Oliver Wharton and Jane Duer had the following children:

2 i. Rebecca² Wharton was born Miami County, Ohio. She married Robert S. Scott Feb. 19, 1880. Robert was born Miami County, Ohio March 26, 1832. Robert was the son of John Scott and Elizabeth Sproul. At 50 years of age Robert became the father of Robert Stanley Scott Troy, Ohio, Nov. 7, 1882. At 52 years of age Robert became the father of Alvah Wharton Scott Oct. 21, 1884. At 56 years of age Robert became the father of Ernest Harrison Scott July 12, 1888. (See Robert S. Scott for the continuation of this line.)

Rebecca became the mother of Robert Stanley Scott Troy, Ohio, Nov. 7, 1882. Rebecca became the mother of Alvah Wharton Scott Oct. 21, 1884. Rebecca became the mother of Ernest Harrison Scott July 12, 1888.
