He married Margaret A. Drake Nov. 11, 1877. Margaret was born Greenbush, Illinois Aug. 6, 1860. Margaret was the daughter of Samuel H. Drake and Phoebe Jane Todd. Margaret died Jan. 30, 1945 at 84 years of age. At 17 years of age Margaret became the mother of Bertha Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, April 18, 1878. At 19 years of age Margaret became the mother of George L. Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Oct. 13, 1879. At 20 years of age Margaret became the mother of Frank Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Dec. 26, 1880. At 21 years of age Margaret became the mother of Walter Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, March 21, 1882. At 25 years of age Margaret became the mother of Myrtle Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Sept. 9, 1885. At 29 years of age Margaret became the mother of Clarence Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Dec. 10, 1889. At 31 years of age Margaret became the mother of Nellie Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Feb. 8, 1892. At 32 years of age Margaret became the mother of Buelah Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Nov. 27, 1892.

At 30 years of age James became the father of Bertha Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, April 18, 1878. At 32 years of age James became the father of George L. Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Oct. 13, 1879. At 33 years of age James became the father of Frank Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Dec. 26, 1880. At 34 years of age James became the father of Walter Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, March 21, 1882. At 38 years of age James became the father of Myrtle Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Sept. 9, 1885. At 42 years of age James became the father of Clarence Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Dec. 10, 1889. At 44 years of age James became the father of Nellie Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Feb. 8, 1892. At 45 years of age James became the father of Buelah Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Nov. 27, 1892.

5 iv. Walter Simmons was born Greenbush, Illinois March 21, 1882. He married Minnie McBride Aug. 22, 1917. Minnie was born abt. 1886.

6 v. Myrtle Simmons was born Greenbush, Illinois Sept. 9, 1885. She married Charles Clore Feb. 21, 1907. Charles was born abt. 1881.

7 vi. Clarence Simmons was born Greenbush, Illinois Dec. 10, 1889. He married Blance McBride Aug. 21, 1916. Blance was born abt. 1893.

8 vii. Nellie Simmons was born Greenbush, Illinois Feb. 8, 1892. She married Alva Carrol Feb. 8, 1911. Alva was born abt. 1888.

9 viii. Buelah Simmons was born Greenbush, Illinois Nov. 27, 1892. She married Martin Caves Sept. 23, 1915. Martin was born abt. 1888.
