1. John¹ Smith was born England 1598. John died Oct. 4, 1688 New London, New London County, Connecticut, at 90 years of age.

He married Johanna Unknown abt. 1633. Johanna was born England 1614. Johanna died 1688 New London, New London County, Connecticut, at 74 years of age. At 16 years of age Johanna became the mother of Elizabeth Smith 1630.

At 32 years of age John became the father of Elizabeth Smith 1630.

John Smith and Johanna Unknown had the following child:

2 i. Elizabeth² Smith was born 1630. Elizabeth died April 20, 1730 New London, New London County, Connecticut, at 99 years of age. She married George Way Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, 1650. George was born England 1614. George died bef. 1689 Providence, R. I.. At 36 years of age George became the father of Elizabeth Way Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, Jan. 19, 1650/1651. At 39 years of age George became the father of Joanna Way Providence, Providence County, R. I., 1653. At 52 years of age George became the father of Thomas Way Providence, Providence County, R. At 20 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Elizabeth Way Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, Jan. 19, 1650/1651. At 23 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Joanna Way Providence, Providence County, R. I., 1653. At 36 years of age Elizabeth became the mother of Thomas Way Providence, Providence County, R. I., 1666.
