He married Sarah Fuller. Sarah became the mother of Ammi Kellogg Castleton, Ruthland County, Vermont, Dec. 19, 1799. Sarah became the mother of Lydia Kellogg Clinton County, New York, Jan. 9, 1826. Sarah became the mother of Sarah Fuller Kellogg Castleton, Rutland County, Vermont, Feb. 24, 1829.

Saxton became the father of Ammi Kellogg Castleton, Ruthland County, Vermont, Dec. 19, 1799. Saxton became the father of Lydia Kellogg Clinton County, New York, Jan. 9, 1826. Saxton became the father of Sarah Fuller Kellogg Castleton, Rutland County, Vermont, Feb. 24, 1829.

Saxton Kellogg and Sarah Fuller had the following children:

She married Julius Barnes Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois, Jan. 30, 1853. Julius was born Oneida County, New York Aug. 27, 1826. At 27 years of age Julius became the father of Martin Julius Barnes Peoria County, Illinois, Dec. 4, 1853. At 29 years of age Julius became the father of Mary Annette Barnes Peoria County, Illinois, Nov. 22, 1855. At 31 years of age Julius became the father of Rufus Augustas Barnes Stark County, Illinois, Oct. 29, 1857. At 33 years of age Julius became the father of Franklin Ammi Barnes Stark County, Illinois, March 14, 1860. At 37 years of age Julius became the father of Alvin Saxton Barnes Stark County, Illinois, Nov. 23, 1863. At 38 years of age Julius became the father of Edson Sidney Barnes Stark County, Illinois, July 2, 1865. At 41 years of age Julius became the father of Frederick Henry Barnes Stark County, Illinois, Jan. 18, 1868.
