1. Thomas¹ Jewell was born England 1608. Thomas died July 21, 1654 Braintree, Massachusetts.

He married Grizell Fletcher (by 2nd Spouse) abt. 1640. Grizell was born England abt. 1618. Grizell was the daughter of Robert Fletcher. Grizell died aft. April 5, 1675 Chelmsford, Massachusetts, at approximately 56 years of age. At 32 years of age Grizell became the mother of Grizell Jewell Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, Jan. 19, 1650/1651.

At 42 years of age Thomas became the father of Grizell Jewell Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, Jan. 19, 1650/1651.

Thomas Jewell and Grizell Fletcher (by 2nd Spouse) had the following child:

2 i. Grizell² Jewell was born Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts Jan. 19, 1650/1651. Grizell died Jan. 17, 1681/1682 Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 30 years of age. She married Joshua Fletcher Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, May 4, 1668. Joshua was born Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts March 30, 1648. Joshua was the son of William Fletcher (by 1st. Spouse) and Lydia Fairbanks. Joshua died Nov. 21, 1713 Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at 65 years of age. At 20 years of age Joshua became the father of Joshua Fletcher Jr. May 4, 1668. Joshua became the father of Paul Fletcher abt. 1669. (See Joshua Fletcher for the continuation of this line.)

At 17 years of age Grizell became the mother of Joshua Fletcher Jr. May 4, 1668. Grizell became the mother of Paul Fletcher abt. 1669.
