2 i. Mary Ellen² Huffman was born Iola, Kansas Feb. 27, 1905. Mary died Aug. 18, 1998 Blanding, San Juan County, Utah, at 93 years of age. She married three times. She married Carl Schrum. She married Oliver Leslie Allen Delta, Colorado, Feb. 27, 1923. Oliver was born Lincoln, Lincoln County, Kansas June 3, 1894. Oliver was the son of James Will Allen and Hattie Marguerite Schroeder. Oliver died Sept. 15, 1963 Woodward, Oklahoma, at 69 years of age. At 30 years of age Oliver became the father of John Leslie Allen Los Angelas, California, May 28, 1925. (See Oliver Leslie Allen for the continuation of this line.) She married Albert Dale Butler Aztec, New Mexico, Jan. 30, 1935. Albert was born Farmington, New Mexico July 2, 1906. Albert died Jan. 3, 1964 California, at 57 years of age.

At 20 years of age Mary became the mother of John Leslie Allen Los Angelas, California, May 28, 1925.
