He married Agnes Hackney Moorestown, Burlington County, New Jersey, Dec. 4, 1693. Agnes was born London, Middlesex, England. Agnes was the daughter of Thomas Hackney. Agnes became the mother of Thomas Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, May 28, 1695. Agnes became the mother of John Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, Sept. 5, 1696. Agnes became the mother of William Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, May 24, 1699. Agnes became the mother of Grace Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, 1700. Agnes became the mother of Agnes Hollinshead Burlington County, New Jersey, abt. 1703. Agnes became the mother of Hugh Hollinshead Sr. 1705. Agnes became the mother of Edmond Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, April 22, 1708. Agnes became the mother of Joseph Hollinshead 1710. Agnes became the mother of Edward Hollinshead Chester Township, Morris County, New Jersey, 1712.

At 21 years of age John became the father of Thomas Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, May 28, 1695. At 22 years of age John became the father of John Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, Sept. 5, 1696. At 25 years of age John became the father of William Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, May 24, 1699. At 26 years of age John became the father of Grace Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, 1700. John became the father of Agnes Hollinshead Burlington County, New Jersey, abt. 1703. At 31 years of age John became the father of Hugh Hollinshead Sr. 1705. At 34 years of age John became the father of Edmond Hollinshead Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey, April 22, 1708. At 36 years of age John became the father of Joseph Hollinshead 1710. At 38 years of age John became the father of Edward Hollinshead Chester Township, Morris County, New Jersey, 1712.

John Hollinshead and Agnes Hackney had the following children:

2 i. Sarah² Hollinshead. She married Samuel Barnes. Samuel became the father of John Barnes Sept. 1, 1741. (See Samuel Barnes for the continuation of this line.)

Sarah became the mother of John Barnes Sept. 1, 1741.

3 ii. Thomas Hollinshead was born Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey May 28, 1695. Thomas died June 11, 1695 Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey.

4 iii. John Hollinshead was born Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey Sept. 5, 1696. John died 1739 at 42 years of age. He married Hannah Rogers abt. 1715.

5 iv. William Hollinshead was born Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey May 24, 1699. William died 1770 Somerset County, New Jersey, at 71 years of age.

6 v. Grace Hollinshead was born Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey 1700. Grace died 1769 Evesham Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, at 69 years of age. She married Abram Haines Evesham Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, May 14, 1719. Abram was born Evesham Township, Burlington County, New Jersey abt. 1696. Abram died Jan. 1758 Evesham Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, at 61 years of age.

7 vi. Agnes Hollinshead was born Burlington County, New Jersey abt. 1703. She married Richard Haines Pilesgrove Township, Salem County, New Jersey, Aug. 1721. Richard was born Pilesgrove Township, Salem County, New Jersey abt. 1698. Richard was the son of Richard Haines and Mary Carlisle. Richard died bef. April 12, 1778 Yorktown, Salem County, New Jersey, at approximately 79 years of age. At 24 years of age Richard became the father of Joseph Haines Fairfield Township, Cumberland County New Jersey, Sept. 23, 1722. At 27 years of age Richard became the father of Hugh Haines Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey, March 22, 1726. At 27 years of age Richard became the father of Anthony Haines Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey, March 22, 1726. At 35 years of age Richard became the father of Ephraim Haines Burlington County, New Jersey, Sept. 23, 1733. At 37 years of age Richard became the father of Richard Haines Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey, July 3, 1735. At 19 years of age Agnes became the mother of Joseph Haines Fairfield Township, Cumberland County New Jersey, Sept. 23, 1722. At 22 years of age Agnes became the mother of Hugh Haines Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey, March 22, 1726. At 22 years of age Agnes became the mother of Anthony Haines Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey, March 22, 1726. At 30 years of age Agnes became the mother of Ephraim Haines Burlington County, New Jersey, Sept. 23, 1733. At 32 years of age Agnes became the mother of Richard Haines Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey, July 3, 1735. At 33 years of age Agnes became the mother of Rebecca Haines Burlington County, New Jersey, March 4, 1737.

+ 8 vii. Hugh Hollinshead Sr. was born 1705.

9 viii. Edmond Hollinshead was born Rancocas Creek, Burlington County, New Jersey April 22, 1708. Edmond died May 5, 1781 at 73 years of age. He married Mary Morgan Oct. 1737. Mary was born Dec. 1718. Mary was the daughter of Alexander Morgan and Hannah Cooper. Mary died May 3, 1763 Chester County, Pennsylvania, at 44 years of age.

10 ix. Joseph Hollinshead was born 1710. He married twice. He married Martha Howe. He married Sarah Pearson Burlington, Burlington County, New Jersey, July 17, 1740.

11 x. Edward Hollinshead was born Chester Township, Morris County, New Jersey 1712. Edward died abt. 1761 Cape May County, New Jersey.
