2 i. John² Barnes was born Sept. 1, 1741. John died 1793 at 51 years of age. He married Rebecca Haines Pilesgrove Township, Salem County, New Jersey, Jan. 25, 1759. Rebecca was born Burlington County, New Jersey March 4, 1737. Rebecca was the daughter of Richard Haines and Agnes Hollinshead. Rebecca died Oct. 1805 Pilesgrove Township, Salem County, New Jersey, at 68 years of age.
