At 29 years of age W. became the father of Sarah Mathis Chickasaw County, Mississippi, 1860. At 30 years of age W. became the father of William H. "Little Pete" Mathis Chickasaw County, Mississippi, 1861. At 32 years of age W. became the father of Margaret Mathis Chickasaw County, Mississippi, 1863. At 18 years of age Margaret became the mother of Sarah Mathis Chickasaw County, Mississippi, 1860. At 19 years of age Margaret became the mother of William H. At 25 years of age Margaret became the mother of Nancy Ellen Mathis Chickasaw County, Mississippi, 1867.
