He married Phoebe Jane Todd. Phoebe was born Greenbush, Illinois April 30, 1831. Phoebe was the daughter of John J. Todd and Jane Van Dorene McClure. At 24 years of age Phoebe became the mother of Ann A. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, May 12, 1855. At 27 years of age Phoebe became the mother of Emma J. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, May 22, 1858. At 29 years of age Phoebe became the mother of Margaret A. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, Aug. 6, 1860. At 32 years of age Phoebe became the mother of Sarah J. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, Aug. 5, 1863. At 34 years of age Phoebe became the mother of William S. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, Feb. 5, 1866. At 40 years of age Phoebe became the mother of Samuel H. Drake Jr. Greenbush, Illinois, March 4, 1872.

At 25 years of age Samuel became the father of Ann A. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, May 12, 1855. At 28 years of age Samuel became the father of Emma J. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, May 22, 1858. At 31 years of age Samuel became the father of Margaret A. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, Aug. 6, 1860. At 34 years of age Samuel became the father of Sarah J. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, Aug. 5, 1863. At 36 years of age Samuel became the father of William S. Drake Greenbush, Illinois, Feb. 5, 1866. At 42 years of age Samuel became the father of Samuel H. Drake Jr. Greenbush, Illinois, March 4, 1872.

4 iii. Margaret A. Drake was born Greenbush, Illinois Aug. 6, 1860. Margaret died Jan. 30, 1945 at 84 years of age. She married James Oscar Simmons Nov. 11, 1877. James was born Greenbush, Illinois abt. 1847. At 30 years of age James became the father of Bertha Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, April 18, 1878. At 32 years of age James became the father of George L. Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Oct. 13, 1879. At 33 years of age James became the father of Frank Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Dec. 26, 1880. At 34 years of age James became the father of Walter Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, March 21, 1882. At 38 years of age James became the father of Myrtle Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Sept. 9, 1885. At 42 years of age James became the father of Clarence Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Dec. 10, 1889. At 44 years of age James became the father of Nellie Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Feb. 8, 1892. At 25 years of age Margaret became the mother of Myrtle Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Sept. 9, 1885. At 29 years of age Margaret became the mother of Clarence Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Dec. 10, 1889. At 31 years of age Margaret became the mother of Nellie Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Feb. 8, 1892. At 32 years of age Margaret became the mother of Buelah Simmons Greenbush, Illinois, Nov. 27, 1892.

5 iv. Sarah J. Drake was born Greenbush, Illinois Aug. 5, 1863. She married Herburt O. Pierce April 1, 1885. Herburt was born Poultney, Vermont July 6, 1864. Herburt was the son of Stephen Pierce and Lottie Johnson.

7 vi. Samuel H. Drake Jr. was born Greenbush, Illinois March 4, 1872. Samuel died March 11, 1875 at 3 years of age.
