1. Paul Verdier¹ Cox was born Miami County, Ohio Aug. 10, 1843.

He married Mary Miover Miami County, Ohio, Feb. 17, 1867. Mary was born Dec. 18, 1845. Mary was the daughter of Isaac Miover and Jane Duer Anderson. Mary died Oct. 17, 1901 at 55 years of age. At 22 years of age Mary became the mother of Charles Ellis Cox Dec. 23, 1867. At 25 years of age Mary became the mother of Ada Jane Cox Miami County, Ohio, Feb. 16, 1871.

At 24 years of age Paul became the father of Charles Ellis Cox Dec. 23, 1867. At 27 years of age Paul became the father of Ada Jane Cox Miami County, Ohio, Feb. 16, 1871.

Paul Verdier Cox and Mary Miover had the following children:

3 ii. Ada Jane Cox was born Miami County, Ohio Feb. 16, 1871. Ada died April 8, 1946 Piqud, Miami County, Ohio, at 75 years of age. She married George O. Duer Miami County, Ohio, July 18, 1894. George was born Miami County, Ohio July 3, 1870. George was the son of Joseph S. Duer and Jane M. White. George died Sept. 27, 1958 Miami County, Ohio, at 88 years of age. His body was interred aft. Sept. 27, 1958 Fletcher, Miami County, Ohio. At 26 years of age George became the father of Ellen Claire Duer Miami County, Ohio, Aug. 21, 1896. At 29 years of age George became the father of Joseph Cox Duer Conover, Miami County, Ohio, Jan. 12, 1900. (See George O. Duer for the continuation of this line.)

At 25 years of age Ada became the mother of Ellen Claire Duer Miami County, Ohio, Aug. 21, 1896. At 28 years of age Ada became the mother of Joseph Cox Duer Conover, Miami County, Ohio, Jan. 12, 1900.
