1. Claude Ray¹ Badgett was born Kentuckytown, Grayson County, Texas Jan. 21, 1881. Claude died April 18, 1960 Plainview, Texas. His body was interred April 20, 1960 Quitaque, Texas.

He married Annie Bowie Coalgate, Coal County, Oklahoma, April 16, 1902. Annie was born Krebs, Indian Territory, Oklahoma March 11, 1886. Annie died Jan. 30, 1978 Amarillo, Texas, at 91 years of age. At 19 years of age Annie became the mother of Mary Belle Badgett Bells, Grayson County, Texas, Oct. 19, 1905.

At 24 years of age Claude became the father of Mary Belle Badgett Bells, Grayson County, Texas, Oct. 19, 1905.

Claude Ray Badgett and Annie Bowie had the following child:

2 i. Mary Belle² Badgett was born Bells, Grayson County, Texas Oct. 19, 1905. Mary died Jan. 20, 1964 Houston, Texas, at 58 years of age. She married William Payne Savage Feb. 28, 1925. William was born Whitewright, Texas Sept. 23, 1903. William was the son of Charles Edward Savage and Flora Belle Payne. At 29 years of age William became the father of Claude Ray Savage Briscoe County, Texas, July 2, 1933. (See William Payne Savage for the continuation of this line.)

At 27 years of age Mary became the mother of Claude Ray Savage Briscoe County, Texas, July 2, 1933.
